LIFE HACKS WITH OLD NEWSPAPERS
People get newspapers every day. And if you do too, then it means that you should have a lot of newspapers at home. Don't rush to throw them away – they can be really useful. You can make a lot of things out of old newspapers. Watch this video and tell us in the comments, which craft you liked most of all.
First of all, you can make roses out of newspapers. Paint them your favorite color and decorate whatever you like with them. We painted them silver and decorated a photo frame. Looks nice, doesn't it?
Another awesome craft with old newspapers is a newspaper nail art. For this craft, you'll need to paint your nails white and soak your finger in vodka or rubbing alcohol. Press a piece of newspaper against it and see what happens! A stylish print is ready.
If you want to get rid of bad smell in a container that was closed for a long time – put a ball of newspaper into it and cover it with a lid. Paper is a perfect absorbent.
The most logic use for an old newspaper is wrapping something into it. To make a nice (and cheap) present wrap, you need to wrap your gift into a newspaper sheet (as seen on the video), and decorate it with a paper rose that we showed you at the beginning of the video.
If you're a fan of gardening, you can easily grow some plants in your garden using newspapers. You can make a paper cup out of a newspaper sheet, put some soil into it, and plant a seed into this cup. When the sprout grows into a small plant, you can plant the cup into your garden without even removing it. It's a perfect no-damage solution for a plant.
To learn more newspaper hacks (for example, the most useful show-drying idea), watch this video up to the end.
