We’ve tried some easy DIY hacks to save our old clothes, and they worked
Our first instinct when something bad happens to our clothes (this could be a tear or a stain), is to throw them out and get new ones. But in this video, I show you some great recycling and repurposing hacks that will help you bring your old clothes back to life.
You can easily fix a tear in your jeans using embroidery thread. Just make sure, it’s the same color as your jeans.
I also show you a tutorial on how to make your shirt sleeves shorter using embroidery thread – and the thread will be invisible.
To prevent a button on your shirt from falling out in the future, sew a cross below it before you sew it back.
If there’s a treat in your jeans, or leggings, or even sleeves, use some tape and run it through the sides of both slits. Then, when you cover both areas, simply pull the thread and the hole will close.
Remove gum from your clothes by rubbing an ice-cube on it. The ice will harden the gum and it’d easier to get rid of.
